MIND-BODY CONNECTION with Sara (75-90 minutes)

Have you ever felt like traditional talk therapy hasn’t worked for you? Sometimes it is difficult to be able to express our feelings through words and conversation making therapy a challenge within itself. I would like to offer a mind-body connection service to you which involves the practice of Kundalini Yoga along with other traditions as an alternative mode for therapy. Through movement and meditation the mind is able to condition so you are able to better express without restraint. What makes the mind-body connection unique to other therapies is that you are able to treat the session as an individual yoga session and discuss your experience after in relation to your emotions. The focus is based around your experience of practice and presented as an opportunity to be in the here and now. The ultimate goal is to create an intention for yourself and be able to commit to a better understanding of yourself through movement.


Kundalini Yoga is known to be the yoga of awareness. It is different that other styles in that it is unique from and also integrative of other well known practices such as Hatha or Vinyasa. Kundalini Yoga allows individuals to have a direct experiences with themselves through kriyas, meditations, and mantras. Kundalini is a welcoming practice in that it does not require the practitioner to maintain a pose in totality to receive benefits from the practice. It is a yoga for all people regardless of physical abilities, past yoga experiences, or current mental states. The practices are intentional to heal, connect, and reject the negative notions we hold onto. Kundalini Yoga is said to be the quickest mode of transformation in the realm of yoga. By igniting the dormant Kundalini energy, one is able to awaken their true and inner identity. Individual yoga sessions are offered so that you may guided to have a more intimate experience that aligns with your intentions.
