Sara Pitcher

I am passionate about helping individuals who struggle with a sense of identification based on current situations which can affect their daily living. My ultimate goal is to work together to help individuals evaluate mental blocks which prevent them from their full potential we work to identify wants, the direction of total behavior, and levels of commitment to reach obtainable goals. I work with adolescents and adults who are struggling with issues which prevent them from self-recognition and empowerment. Together, we can develop positive coping skills unique to the individual’s personality and needs. No person is alike and neither is the approach of how they are helped to manage stressors big and small. All problems are approached with self-empowerment and as an opportunity for an individual to focus on themselves during sessions. I can help a client understand their own power of choosing how to take control of aspects of their life that seem unmanageable.

I take a holistic approach in evaluating the totality of each individual. I also offer mindful, yogic based services which allow a person to use their breath and body to flourish. It helps to strengthen self-awareness and self-control as well as find alternatives to traditional talk therapy. I have worked with clients with anxiety, PTSD, depression, schizophrenia, addiction, along with other issues.

My goal is to help individuals feel empowered and comfortable with themselves as they go through the daily routines of life. By gaining self-awareness and empowerment there are many more doors of opportunity to sustain a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. I would love to be a part of your journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

I received my Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University in 2018.
